Ducati Panigale V4 Lamborghini Arrives in India: An Exclusive ₹1 Crore Masterpiece

The landscape of ultra-luxury motorcycling in India just reached a new peak with the official launch of the Ducati Panigale V4 Lamborghini, priced at a staggering ₹1 crore (ex-showroom). This limited-edition machine, built on the Panigale V4 S platform, is a high-performance tribute to the partnership between Ducati and Lamborghini, drawing heavy inspiration from the Lamborghini Revuelto supercar.

Exclusivity is the hallmark of this release, as only 630 numbered units are being produced for the entire world. Despite the high price tag, all units allotted for India have already been spoken for, with the very first motorcycle already delivered to a collector in Mumbai. For those who missed out, the model is officially sold out globally.

Engine Performance and Engineering Excellence

At the heart of this special edition is the renowned 1,103cc V4 Desmosedici Stradale engine. In this configuration, the powerplant has been tuned to deliver an incredible 216bhp at 13,500rpm and 122.1Nm of torque at 11,250rpm. This performance boost is aided by a dedicated engine calibration and an Akrapovič titanium silencer featuring carbon fiber end caps.

  • Weight Management: The motorcycle weighs in at just 185kg (without fuel), making it approximately 2kg lighter than the standard Panigale V4 S.
  • Power-to-Weight Ratio: Ducati claims a phenomenal ratio of 1.17bhp per kg.
  • Advanced Components: The bike features a dry clutch kit and adjustable billet aluminum footrests and levers.

Revuelto-Inspired Design and Bespoke Materials

The aesthetic of the Panigale V4 Lamborghini is a direct nod to the design language of the Revuelto. The forged aluminum wheels are specially designed to mimic the supercar’s rims, and the seat is upholstered in a style that echoes the Revuelto’s cabin. The winglets and tail piece have also been reshaped to reflect Lamborghini’s sharp, aggressive lines.

Carbon fiber has been used extensively across the motorcycle, appearing on the fairing, mudguards, chain guard, and tank protection. Designers have carefully aligned the carbon weave along the center line to create a sophisticated herringbone pattern. For the Indian market, the livery features a striking combination of Verde Scandal, Grigio Telesto, and Grigio Acheso Tricolore accents.

Elite Suspension and Electronics

The motorcycle is equipped with the Ducati Electronic Suspension 3.0, managed by the Ohlins Smart EC 3.0 system. The hardware includes:

  • Front: Ohlins NPX-30 pressurized front fork.
  • Rear: Ohlins TTX 36 rear shock.
  • Steering: Ohlins steering damper.
  • Safety Tech: Advanced electronics suite including the Ducati Vehicle Observer and Race eCBS.

Collector Features and Track Readiness

Each Panigale V4 Lamborghini is treated as a collector’s item. The billet aluminum triple clamp is laser-etched with the specific model name and production number, which is also reflected on the aluminum ignition key and a dedicated dashboard animation. Every owner receives a certificate of authenticity and a customized wooden shipping crate finished to match the bike’s livery.

For those taking the machine to the track, Ducati includes a specialized racing kit consisting of a carbon fiber open clutch cover, a racing fuel tank cap, and brake caliper air conveyors. Notably, 63 of the 630 units were reserved for the Speciale Clienti series, allowing Lamborghini owners to customize their motorcycles to perfectly match the colors of their supercars.
